A Lawrence, Massachusetts man, Gabriel Cordero-Carmona, 30, was arrested in Seabrook, New Hampshire, after a month-long undercover investigation into fentanyl distribution. The Seabrook Police Department’s investigation revealed that Cordero-Carmona had been supplying fentanyl in the area, allegedly selling the drug to undercover officers multiple times.

On Monday morning, officers attempted to stop Cordero-Carmona while he was driving, but he fled the scene on foot near Upper New Zealand Road. After a brief pursuit, officers successfully apprehended him.

Cordero-Carmona is facing several charges, including:

Distribution of Fentanyl
Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl
Disobeying an Officer
Resisting Arrest/Detention
Reckless Operation
He is scheduled for an arraignment at the Hampton Circuit Court on February 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. Seabrook Police Chief Brett Walker reiterated the department’s commitment to combatting drug distribution, particularly fentanyl, in the community.

“Our department will continue to take aggressive action against those distributing illicit drugs in Seabrook,” Chief Walker said. “We are ready to identify and arrest anyone involved in drug trafficking in our town.”

The investigation was supported by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and Seabrook Fire Department. Authorities encourage anyone with information about illegal drug activities to contact the Seabrook Police Department or report anonymously via Crimeline.
