LANCASTER, S.C. — John Wylie Gay Jr., 36, of Lancaster, was arrested on May 12, 2024, during a traffic stop and faces several charges related to methamphetamine trafficking.
The arrest followed an investigation by the Lancaster County Multijurisdictional Narcotics Task Force, which involved a controlled buy of suspected methamphetamine from Gay at his home on Old Evans Circle in Lancaster. Authorities obtained warrants for his arrest after the controlled buy took place last month.
Gay faces charges of distribution of methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute (PWID) a controlled substance near Connection Park.
