Lamont Williams Arrested for SF Homicide

Hayward man booked in deadly Harrison Street shooting

SAN FRANCISCO — A Hayward man, Lamont Williams, 49, was arrested Friday in connection with a fatal shooting in San Francisco.

Police say the incident occurred at 2:02 a.m. on Feb. 9 on the 500 block of Harrison Street. Responding officers found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds, who was transported to a hospital and later pronounced dead.

Following the investigation, authorities identified Williams as the suspected shooter. A warrant was issued, and he was taken into custody on the 25000 block of Industrial Boulevard in Hayward.

Williams has been booked into San Francisco County Jail #1 on a homicide charge, and the shooting remains under active investigation by the San Francisco Police Department.
