Wichita, KS — Police have arrested a man in connection with one of the three deadly shootings that occurred in Wichita on Labor Day.
According to Sedgwick County Jail booking records, Lafayette Washington has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder. His arrest is tied to the fatal shooting of D’Andre Rubio Glover, who was found with a gunshot wound shortly before 2 a.m. Monday in Wichita’s Old Town. Glover was transported to a hospital but later died from his injuries.
Police say the shooting followed an argument, though no additional details have been released.
Glover’s death was one of three homicide investigations that Wichita police responded to on Monday, September 1. Authorities have not confirmed if any of the incidents are connected.
The investigation remains active.
