PENSACOLA, Fla. — Two suspects wanted in connection with a theft at The Boot Store in Pensacola have been arrested, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
LaCarter Millionder, 50, and Angel Scott, 49, were both booked into jail around 2:45 p.m. on Thursday. Each has been charged with felony larceny – petit theft.
The case stems from a previously reported incident where store surveillance footage captured multiple people allegedly stealing merchandise. Authorities later confirmed that one of the women seen in the footage was not involved in the theft. Although she drove the suspects from the scene, deputies say she did not commit a crime and will not be charged.
Prior Warrants
Both suspects were already wanted before this latest arrest:
Millionder had two active warrants for previous thefts and violation of community control.
Scott had three active warrants related to prior petit thefts.
Their arrests bring resolution to the high-profile retail theft that drew attention after the store released security footage to the media.
