FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — Two men were arrested and a suspected drug house shut down after a major bust in Flagler County uncovered more than a pound of marijuana, nearly 200 THC cartridges, almost $10,000 in cash, and a firearm.
Kyle Ellis, 27, and Glenn Fletcher, 38, were taken into custody after the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Special Investigations Unit and SWAT team executed a search warrant at a residence flagged by a tip from a concerned citizen.
FCSO said an undercover operation confirmed suspicions before law enforcement obtained the warrant.
“I want to thank the concerned resident who ‘saw something and said something’ and helped us shut down another drug house,” said Sheriff Rick Staly.
During the raid, deputies seized:
1.4 pounds of marijuana
199 THC oil cartridges (2g each)
$9,500 in cash
Scales and packing materials
A firearm
Kyle Ellis was arrested at the home and faces charges including Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell and other drug-related offenses. His cousin, Glenn Fletcher, was arrested after approaching the scene and ignoring police commands.
Both men are currently facing prosecution as the sheriff’s office continues its crackdown on drug activity in the area.
