The accused were identified as:

Md Ehasan Khan (23) from Jharkhand

According to police, the burglary occurred between June 14 and 16, when complainant Sanjaya Nayak (59) and his family were away visiting relatives in Bareipali. Upon their return on June 16, they found their house broken into, with lockers in the bedroom forcibly opened and valuables stolen.

Following the complaint, Kuchinda police launched an investigation, conducting raids at multiple hideouts. The operation led to the arrest of the suspects and recovery of gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs of rupees, along with a vehicle used in the crime.

After legal verification, the recovered items were returned to the complainant.

Police revealed that the arrested individuals are believed to be part of an interstate burglary gang, possibly linked to other theft cases across different states. Further investigation is ongoing.
