Modakkurichi police arrested 35-year-old Kumar for allegedly killing his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Deepasri, on Sunday. Kumar, a security guard from Mettupalayam in Elumathur, stayed at home with Deepasri while his wife, Pandiselvi, 24, took their ill four-year-old son to the hospital on March 15. The couple also has a twin son, Dhivan. The tragic incident has led to an ongoing investigation by local authorities.
