Ramtek police have arrested Kuldeepsingh Bisen, alias Varun Thakur, 31, for allegedly murdering Ramesh Mansingh Solanki, a resident of Shitalwadi, Ramtek. The fatal attack occurred on October 5 while Solanki was heading to Sai Sabri Hotel to celebrate a friend’s birthday.
According to the police complaint, Bisen, driven by a longstanding dispute, arrived at the hotel gate on a motorcycle, drew a knife, and fatally stabbed Solanki.
A case has been registered under Sections 109 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, and Bisen, a resident of Mansar, Ramtek, was swiftly taken into custody.
The court granted police custody of Bisen until October 9 to allow further investigations. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward and assist in the probe.
