Kristopher Mangum Arrested on Credit Card Fraud Charges

Jackson police link suspect to multiple fraudulent transactions

JACKSON, Miss. — Jackson police have arrested Kristopher Mangum, 31, in connection with a series of alleged credit card fraud incidents at a local convenience store.

According to the Jackson Police Department, Mangum was taken into custody on December 8, 2025, and is facing 11 counts of credit card fraud tied to transactions at the Sprint Mart located at 5700 Medgar Evers Boulevard. Authorities say he is also awaiting trial in a separate credit card fraud case dating back to 2022.

At the time of his arrest, investigators noted that Mangum was serving three years of probation from a Louisiana case in which he previously pleaded guilty to computer fraud and identity theft.

As with all criminal cases, Mangum is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
