Kristen Olson Arrested After $3,000+ Burglary in Addison

ADDISON, N.Y. — A Painted Post woman has been arrested following a three-month burglary investigation in the Village of Addison, according to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.

Kristen Olson is accused of unlawfully entering a residence in May, stealing property valued at over $3,000, and causing damage inside the home.

Following a detailed investigation that included the execution of multiple search warrants, Olson was charged with the following:

Second-degree burglary (Class C felony)

Third-degree grand larceny (Class D felony)

Fourth-degree grand larceny involving a weapon (Class E felony)

Third-degree criminal mischief (Class E felony)

Olson was arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court and is currently held on $10,000 bail.

Authorities remind the public that all charges are accusations and Olson is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
