Three students of a business management course in Manipal — Krish Malav, Raj Veer, and Vikram Veer — were arrested and remanded to judicial custody following a violent campus brawl linked to drug use. Police confirmed the trio had consumed narcotics and engaged in a physical altercation that left one student with a fractured shoulder.

According to the complaint filed by Raj Girish Suvarna, he and his friend Satvik Bhandari were assaulted and threatened by the accused during class hours on Thursday around 10:55 AM. The accused reportedly hurled verbal abuse, issued death threats, and physically attacked both students.

The situation escalated to the point that Satvik Bhandari sustained a fracture in his left shoulder, prompting immediate medical attention.

Following the complaint, Manipal Police registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) — Sections 126(2), 352(2), 351(2), and 117(3) read with 3(5).

During the investigation, authorities confirmed the students had consumed drugs prior to the assault. All three have been presented before the court and sent to judicial custody as further inquiries continue.
