A special investigation squad from Maharashtra arrested Attavayalil Sujin Raj, a native of Koyilandy, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in connection with a high-value theft case in Mumbai. The accused has been brought to Mumbai for further investigation.
Police sources revealed that Sujin Raj is suspected of involvement in the theft of approximately Rs70 lakh from a residential property. Authorities are actively searching for several of his close aides who are believed to have partnered in the crime.
The investigation is ongoing as the police aim to apprehend the remaining suspects and recover the stolen assets.
