J-Pop Singer and Actor Accused of Assaulting Man at Bathhouse

Kousuke Atari, a well-known 44-year-old J-Pop singer and actor, was arrested early on March 28 on suspicion of sexually assaulting a man at a bathhouse in Gotanda, Tokyo. Reports indicate that the incident occurred around 1 am, when Atari allegedly abused a man in his twenties who was sleeping in a chair at the bathhouse. The victim quickly responded and caught Atari in the act, before alerting bathhouse staff, who then contacted the authorities. Atari was arrested immediately at the scene.

Atari has denied the accusations, and his management company, which has been unable to contact him since the incident, is closely monitoring the situation. They have also issued an apology to the victim.

The news has sparked a strong reaction from both Japanese and Korean netizens, leaving many shocked and confused. Kousuke Atari, who began his music career in 2006, gained widespread fame with his hit song “Hana” in 2007. He is also known for his work on popular anime soundtracks, such as BLEACH.
