Kory Long Arrested in Rock Rapids for Drug Possession

Man faces second-offense marijuana and paraphernalia charges

A 40-year-old man from Rock Rapids, Iowa, was arrested on drug-related charges after a warrant execution at his apartment.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reported that Kory Luane Long was taken into custody around 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, at his residence at 905 First Avenue.

During the search, officers discovered ground marijuana and drug paraphernalia, leading to charges of second-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Long was booked following the arrest and is facing legal proceedings for these offenses.
