The cybercrime police arrested the vice-principal of Basavashree College of Law, Dr. Nagaraj, along with his driver Jagadisha, and a student named Varun, for allegedly leaking a law exam question paper. The leak took place in the last week of January 2025.
Dr. Nagaraj holds the position of vice-principal at the college, while Jagadisha, who also studies law, works as his driver. Varun is another student at the college believed to be involved in the scandal.
The arrests were made on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, after a detailed investigation by the cybercrime unit.
