A drug peddler named Baharul Paramanic was arrested by the Kokrajhar Police during a routine checking operation today. Police sources confirmed that Paramanic, a resident of Bhadeaguri under Kokrajhar PS, was apprehended near Kokrajhar Science College.
During the search, the police team discovered 30 containers of drugs from Paramanic’s bike, along with Rs28,910 in cash. The police have also conducted searches at locations where Paramanic is believed to have been supplying the drugs.
The investigation is currently ongoing, with authorities working to uncover further details of his drug distribution network.
