SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — San Angelo Police Department (SAPD) arrested Kobe Lozano, 25, following a short vehicle pursuit on Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 1:46 p.m. on September 17, officers spotted a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of N. Koenigheim St. and attempted to stop it near the 500 block of N. Bryant Boulevard. The driver, later identified as Lozano, refused to comply, leading to a brief chase.
The pursuit ended on the 300 block of E. Houston Harte Expressway when Lozano stopped on the exit ramp and surrendered without incident. The Main Street exit was temporarily closed during the event.
Lozano faces multiple charges including:
Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle
Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
Possession/Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia
No Driver’s License
Multiple Outstanding Warrants
The stolen vehicle was recovered safely. SAPD expressed gratitude to the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety for their assistance.
