Kiyorae Neal Arrested in Greenville for Felony Ecstasy Possession

Illegally parked car leads to drug arrest of 23-year-old man

GREENVILLE – A man was arrested on felony drug charges after officers investigated an illegally parked vehicle in a crowded area.

Kiyorae Neal, 23, of Greenville, is charged with possession of a controlled substance—ecstasy—following a Sunday afternoon arrest.

Around 2 p.m., the Greenville Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team responded to reports of a large crowd near Deaton and South Theobald Streets. When officers arrived, they found a man appearing to be asleep in an illegally parked car.

During the investigation, officers discovered a plastic bag containing 85 dosage units of ecstasy in the vehicle. Neal was taken into custody and now faces felony drug charges.

The case remains under investigation.
