The Kirti Nagar Police have cracked the murder case of 32-year-old Angad from Basai Darapur, Moti Nagar, with the arrest of two key suspects. The weapon, a paper cutter knife, along with the victim’s mobile phone and the accused’s blood-stained clothes, was recovered during the operation.
Angad’s body was discovered on 17 November 2025 near the Kirti Nagar railway tracks with a deep neck wound, indicating a homicidal attack. His belongings were missing, prompting the registration of FIR 5U/S 103(1) BNS at Kirti Nagar Police Station.
Investigations revealed Angad had allegedly harassed Amar’s sister through abusive messages and threats to leak objectionable videos. Despite repeated warnings, he continued the behavior, which led to a revenge conspiracy.
CCTV footage and local intelligence identified Satyendra Chaudhary and Amar as the primary suspects. Satyendra was apprehended, and he disclosed the involvement of Harish Chandra, Amar’s father. Both Harish and Satyendra, maternal uncle and nephew, were arrested. Amar remains absconding.
Police confirmed that on 16 November 2025, the accused lured Angad to the railway tracks under the pretext of drinking. After consuming alcohol, Angad was overpowered, and Satyendra, with Harish’s guidance, slit his neck with a paper cutter knife.
Further investigation is ongoing to apprehend Amar and recover any remaining evidence in this revenge-driven murder case.
