Udupi police have arrested two men from Shivamogga, Kiran B N (32) and Yogesh Naik N (22), in connection with an inter-district motorcycle theft case.
The case was registered at Manipal Police Station after a two-wheeler was reported stolen near Coin Circle on October 30. During the investigation, Kiran and Yogesh were traced and apprehended. Police noted that Kiran B N has prior cases registered at the same station.
The operation was conducted under the guidance of Udupi Deputy Superintendent of Police Prabhu D T and the supervision of Manipal Police Station Inspector Mahesh Prasad. The team included Sub-Inspectors Anil B M and Akshaya Kumari S N, along with staff members Vishwajith, Chethan, Ajmal, Raviraj, and Manjunath.
Police confirmed that the stolen motorcycle was recovered and further investigation into the case is ongoing.
