A tragic hit-and-run incident in central Delhi has claimed the life of a woman, leading to the arrest of 46-year-old Khusipal Tomer. The accident occurred near the Yamuna Bridge on the afternoon of October 25.
Despite initial challenges due to the lack of eyewitnesses, Delhi police successfully identified the suspect using CCTV footage. Tomer, who works with an advertising agency, was reportedly traveling to his hometown in Uttar Pradesh when the incident occurred.
The accused later admitted to driving the vehicle involved in the fatal accident. Police are currently focused on identifying the deceased woman and completing the necessary legal formalities. Investigations are ongoing.
