The Khariar Police cracked a high-value theft case within 24 hours, arresting four accused and recovering stolen items worth over rS55 lakh.
Incident Details
The theft occurred on the night of Mahashivratri when Praveen Agrawal and his family were at a temple for puja.
Around midnight, their son noticed suspicious movement near the house. A youth from Anchlapur village, who had worked at the residence two years ago, became the focus of the investigation.
The accused had taken away an iron safe, broken it, and thrown it into the Udanti River, burying some contents in the river sand.

Investigation
Three special teams from Khariar, Boden, and Sinapali police stations conducted the investigation.
SDPO and multiple officers coordinated, using technical analysis and timely interrogation, leading to the full recovery of stolen property within 24 hours.
