GREENVILLE – A woman is facing serious charges after allegedly overdrawing her bank account by over $25,000 in a fraud case that led to her arrest.
Keyonna Bush was taken into custody on Monday in Greenville. She is charged with fraud and is being held on a $15,000 bond.
According to authorities, the investigation began on April 29 when police received a report from the corporate office of Regions Bank. The complaint involved a suspicious deposit made into Bush’s account.
Police say that at the time of the complaint, Bush’s account was already overdrawn by more than $25,000. Following a detailed investigation, a warrant for her arrest was issued.
Bush now faces charges in connection with the fraudulent activity and awaits further legal proceedings.
