FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ala. — A Tuscumbia man has been arrested and charged with sexual abuse following an investigation into a suspicious vehicle in Littleville late Saturday night, according to the Littleville Police Department (LPD).
Officers responded around 11:45 p.m. to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked near the Littleville Car Wash on George Wallace Highway. Upon approaching the vehicle, police found a man and a female inside.
The man was identified as Keylan Cole Morgan, 25, of Tuscumbia. Investigators determined that the female occupant was a juvenile, prompting an immediate investigation.
As a result, Morgan was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual abuse and tampering with physical evidence, LPD confirmed. He was issued a $1,000 cash bond for each charge.
The Colbert County Sheriff’s Office and the Colbert County Department of Human Resources assisted in the investigation.
Authorities said the case remains under active investigation, and additional charges may follow as evidence is reviewed.
