Colbert County authorities arrested 38-year-old Kevin O’Brien Walker on May 17 following a grand jury indictment. The arrest took place at his residence on the 700 block of West 6th Street in Sheffield, where agents from the Colbert County Drug Task Force, Colbert County Sheriff’s Office, and Sheffield Police Department executed a search warrant.
Upon entering the home, authorities discovered 119 fentanyl pills, 30 grams of methamphetamine, 9 grams of marijuana, and several firearms. One of the firearms was reported as stolen. Additionally, agents seized over $2,000 in cash from the residence.
Walker was charged with two counts of drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and receiving stolen property. He is currently being held in the Colbert County Jail on a revoked bond.
