JOHNSTOWN, PA — Kevin Myers, a 48-year-old Altoona native, has been sentenced to 78 months in federal prison following his conviction for child pornography offenses, authorities announced.
The sentencing was handed down on Tuesday, April 29, and includes six and a half years in prison, followed by 20 years of supervised release.
Myers was convicted in November 2024 of transporting and possessing material involving the sexual exploitation of minors. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Arnold P. Bernard Jr., with recognition from Acting U.S. Attorney Rivetti, who praised Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) for their role in the successful prosecution.
