CONWAY, SC — Kevin Maurice Hill, 37, of Murrells Inlet, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison following his conviction on multiple drug charges.

Fifteenth Circuit Solicitor Jimmy Richardson announced that Hill was convicted of trafficking cocaine, fentanyl, and crack cocaine.

In July 2024, a Myrtle Beach Police Department officer, Aaron Allston, attempted to stop Hill during a traffic stop. Hill fled in a police chase, and officers later found drugs and paraphernalia that he had discarded near the scene.

Under South Carolina law, Hill must serve at least 85% of his sentence before becoming eligible for release.
