Broward Health IT Director Arrested, Charged with Possession of Child Pornography
BROWARD COUNTY, FL – A senior IT director at Broward Health has bonded out of jail after being arrested on disturbing charges involving the possession of child pornography.
According to investigators, authorities discovered more than 10,000 photos and videos of explicit content involving minors in the suspect’s possession. The arrest followed a detailed digital forensic investigation.
The suspect, whose identity has not yet been publicly released, held a key position within the hospital’s information technology department. Broward Health has not yet issued a formal statement regarding the arrest or the employment status of the accused.
Law enforcement sources indicate that the materials were found across multiple digital storage devices, and additional charges may be pending based on ongoing analysis.
The director has since posted bond, but the investigation continues.
