LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) – Two individuals have been arrested in connection with an organized retail theft operation that targeted multiple businesses in Livingston Parish.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (LPSO), Ketara White, 23, and Jashone Sylvester, 24, are facing charges related to the theft of over $4,000 worth of merchandise from several retailers located along the Juban Road area.

Authorities say the duo strategically targeted stores, stealing high-value items in what appeared to be a coordinated effort. Much of the stolen merchandise has since been recovered and returned to the businesses.

Both suspects were booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center, and the investigation remains ongoing.

LPSO is encouraging local retailers and the public to report suspicious activity and work together to deter organized theft rings in the area.
