LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) – Two individuals were arrested in connection with a drug investigation after Lenoir County deputies acted on a citizen complaint.
Last month, deputies conducted searches at two storage units in Lenoir County where 33-year-old Keshaun Strickland, a Greenville resident, had been residing. Inside, authorities discovered large quantities of cocaine, cash, and narcotics distribution materials.
As a result, Strickland was charged with the following:
Felony trafficking in cocaine
Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance
Felony conspiracy
Two counts of maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substances
Strickland was booked into jail under a $40,000 secured bond.
During the investigation, 35-year-old Shaniqua Lowe, also of Greenville, was identified as a co-conspirator. She was later arrested in Pitt County and charged with felony conspiracy. Her bond was set at $2,500.
The investigation remains ongoing, according to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office.
