The Taliparamba police in Kerala arrested a 23-year-old woman, Sneha Merlin, for the alleged sexual abuse of a minor girl. The woman was taken into custody under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act.
Sneha Merlin, a native of Pulliparamba, was arrested following the disclosure of the abuse by the victim. Authorities are continuing to investigate the case.
