The Byatarayanapura police have launched a search for the prime accused in the abduction and robbery of a Kerala-based man, Shammas Ahmed, who was robbed of Rs15 lakh in Bengaluru.
On Friday (November 29), Shammas, a resident of Mattannur in Kerala, came to Bengaluru with the intention of finding a location for his new bakery. He had brought Rs15 lakh in cash, which he had borrowed from a bank as an advance payment for the shop. However, after failing to find a suitable place, Shammas decided to return to Kerala.
While preparing for his departure, Shammas was abducted by a gang and robbed of the entire Rs15 lakh cash he had brought with him. The Byatarayanapura police have initiated a thorough investigation into the case and are actively searching for the suspects involved in this crime.
The incident has left Shammas devastated, as he not only lost his hard-earned money but also the funds he had planned to use for his new business venture. The police are working to trace the criminals and have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
