HILO, Hawaii (Island News) — A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of his 81-year-old neighbor on Hawaii Island.
Keone Peter Tosie Brown was apprehended on March 29th after attempting to flee his home on Olu Street. According to a witness, Brown repeatedly stabbed the elderly woman in the face before threatening the witness and retreating back into his home.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police confirmed that Brown and the victim were neighbors living next door to each other.
Brown is currently being held in custody as police continue their investigation into the case, which includes charges of second-degree murder and first-degree terrorist threatening.
