KEOKUK, Iowa — A 42-year-old man from Keokuk, David Noel Palmisano, is facing an assault charge after a reported incident in the city on Monday morning.
Keokuk police were dispatched to a restaurant on Main Street just after 10:30 a.m. following reports of an assault. Authorities quickly took Palmisano into custody shortly after the incident, which was said to have occurred in the 500 block of North 10th Street.
Palmisano was charged with assault with bodily injury, a serious misdemeanor. He is currently being held in the Lee County Jail as the case progresses.
