Kent Braden, Malion Moore Arrested in Murray Drug Case

Two charged after narcotics found near juveniles

Murray – Detectives with the Calloway County Narcotics Unit arrested Kent Braden, 19, and Malion D. Moore, 49, on March 3, 2026, in connection with an ongoing narcotics investigation.

The arrests were made at a residence on North 5th Street, stemming from a search warrant executed on February 6, 2026. During the search, marijuana, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia were observed in plain view and in close proximity to two juveniles.

Both suspects were lodged at the Calloway County Detention Facility. Charges include:

Malion D. Moore, 49 – Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (≥4 grams cocaine, Class C felony), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Kent Braden, 19 – Trafficking Marijuana (<8 oz, 1st offense, enhanced, Class D felony), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Authorities continue the investigation into the case and potential involvement of additional suspects.
