Kenneth Ridgeway Arrested in Iberville Parish Drug & Gun Bust

Deputies seize meth, firearms in Plaquemine drug investigation

PLAQUEMINE, La. – A drug investigation in Iberville Parish led to the arrest of Kenneth Ridgeway, 47, after deputies discovered methamphetamine, firearms, and drug paraphernalia at a residence on Talbot Drive.

According to the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office (IPSO), deputies were executing a search warrant when they found Ridgeway in possession of illegal narcotics and multiple firearms. As a convicted felon, he was prohibited from possessing weapons.

Charges Against Ridgeway:
Possession of methamphetamine
Possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine
Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS)
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Authorities seized the drugs and firearms as part of their ongoing effort to combat illegal drug activity in the parish. The investigation remains active, and more arrests could follow.
