MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — A Toronto-area man accused in one of Ontario’s largest-ever murder investigations is now suspected of being linked to nearly 100 deaths overseas.
Kenneth Law, who was arrested in May 2023, is facing 14 counts of first-degree murder and 14 counts of counselling or aiding suicide in connection with deaths across Ontario. Authorities allege he operated multiple websites that sold a legal but potentially lethal chemical, along with other suicide-related paraphernalia, to vulnerable individuals globally.
British investigators are now reviewing 99 deaths in the U.K., including two as recently as April and May 2025, that may be linked to Law’s online sales. Police believe he provided a toxic salt compound through the mail, targeting clients suffering from mental health issues.
Law, a former cook at a Toronto-area hotel, was arrested at his Mississauga home by Peel Regional Police. He has remained in custody since his arrest.
Officials describe the case as one of the most complex and far-reaching murder investigations in Canadian history. Investigations continue in several jurisdictions, including cooperation with international law enforcement to trace the full extent of Law’s network.
