Kenner Man Arrested for Stealing Bank Cards and Cash from Unlocked Car

A Kenner man, Henry Torres, 25, was arrested on Friday after allegedly stealing a Louis Vuitton bag containing bank cards and cash from an unlocked car parked at a business on Williams Boulevard.

According to Kenner Police, the incident occurred on the morning of April 25, 2025, around 6 a.m. Torres is accused of entering the vehicle and taking the bag before using the stolen bank cards at a nearby gas station.

Kenner police were able to track Torres through surveillance footage and further investigation, which led them to a residence in the 3800 block of Delaware Avenue. Around 2 p.m. that same day, police executed a search warrant at the home, where they found seven bank cards, the stolen Louis Vuitton bag, and other items belonging to the victim.

Torres was discovered hiding in the residence and was arrested. He now faces multiple charges, including simple burglary, theft, illegal possession of stolen things, and several outstanding attachments from surrounding agencies. Authorities continue to investigate the case.
