TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WICS) — The Taylorville Police Department’s CAT team executed a search warrant Wednesday afternoon at a residence in the Hillcrest Trailer Park, leading to the arrest of two suspects on drug-related charges.
According to police, Kellie L. Wingo, 35, and Jacob A. Samson, 41, were taken into custody for delivery and possession of methamphetamine following the search.
Authorities said the operation was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation. The department credited the cooperation of John McWard, noting his assistance was instrumental in the successful execution of the search warrant.
Both suspects were transported to the Christian County Jail, and the case remains under investigation.
