GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A year-long investigation into a widespread auto theft and break-in ring has led to multiple arrests, including suspects now facing RICO charges, according to Gwinnett County Police.
Authorities say the criminal operation spanned 14 months and affected hundreds of victims throughout metro Atlanta. The group is accused of using stolen vehicles to commit break-ins, targeting credit cards, firearms, and cash.
The investigation began on June 5, 2024, when officers recognized a pattern in a series of thefts. Police eventually tracked the suspects to an East Point apartment complex. On August 5, Gwinnett County Police and Atlanta Police SWAT executed a search warrant at the location.
Four suspects were arrested:
Kejuan Miliam, 25 (Atlanta): Multiple felony charges for entering autos, criminal damage to property (2nd degree), and RICO violation
Travion Middleton, 25 (East Point): Felony theft by taking, two counts of entering auto, and charged under RICO
Lydericus Broomhead, 17 (Atlanta): Charged under RICO
Kordale Miliam: Arrested on outstanding warrants for felony murder, armed robbery, and aggravated assault. He remains in the Fulton County Jail
Police say the case is still under investigation, and additional arrests are expected.
