Keith Knight Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges After Crash

Benton Man Found with Meth, Marijuana, and Cash Following Crash

Keith Knight, 45, from Benton, Kentucky, was arrested on February 7, 2025, by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office on outstanding warrants and drug trafficking charges following a vehicle accident and subsequent investigation.

The arrest followed a single-vehicle crash on January 31, 2025, on Lovelaceville Florence Station Road West. Knight, who was the driver, was hospitalized with injuries sustained in the crash. During the investigation, deputies discovered methamphetamine inside the vehicle, and further searches revealed additional methamphetamine and a large sum of cash on Knight’s person at the hospital.

After his release from the hospital, Knight was arrested at a residence in the 5900 block of Carr Road. A search of the property resulted in the seizure of marijuana and other items commonly associated with drug trafficking.

Knight was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail, facing charges of trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony probation violations.
