MADISON, WI — UW-Madison Police arrested Keith A. Jones in connection with a violent assault that occurred early Saturday morning near Camp Randall Stadium.
Around 2 a.m. on September 20, officers responded to a parking lot near Breese Terrace and Regent Street, where they discovered a victim suffering from critical injuries after what authorities described as a “violent, unprovoked attack.”
Jones allegedly fled the scene but was located later that evening and arrested without incident. He was booked into Dane County Jail on tentative charges including:
Aggravated Battery with Intent to Cause Great Bodily Harm
Robbery
Probation Violation
Police believe the attack was targeted, and the investigation remains ongoing.
