Keeton Martin Arrested in Morgantown Drug Trafficking Case

Police seize marijuana, THC products, and cash during search

MORGANTOWN, Ky. (WBKO) — A Morgantown man was arrested after authorities executed a search warrant at a residence on Orange Cemetery Road, officials said.

On October 12, Kentucky State Police and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office responded to the property to assist the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Upon arrival, officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from both a vehicle and the residence.

After obtaining a search warrant, law enforcement discovered suspected marijuana, THC and synthetic THC products, along with an undisclosed amount of cash.

28-year-old Keeton Martin was taken into custody and charged with:

Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (8oz to <5lbs), 1st Offense Tampering with Physical Evidence Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Wanton Endangerment, 1st Degree Martin was lodged in the Butler County Jail. The investigation is ongoing, led by Trooper Brent Davis of the Kentucky State Police, with assistance from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
