DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Two suspects have been arrested and are now facing felony murder charges in connection with separate deadly shootings in DeKalb County, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
Keenan Maxwell Williams, 35, was taken into custody on August 5. He is accused of fatally shooting 36-year-old Cole Pitter of Marietta on July 6 in Lithonia.
In an unrelated case, 23-year-old Emdria Swinton was arrested on August 6. Authorities allege she shot and killed 40-year-old Elmar Lawrence of Jackson, Georgia, on March 12 in Decatur. Swinton was reportedly taken into custody without incident.
Both suspects are currently being held at the DeKalb County Jail without bond.
