The Kasturba Marg Police swiftly solved a robbery case in Borivali East, arresting two suspects and recovering all stolen property within hours.
On Monday, the complainant was attacked near the Magathane public bathroom in Borivali East. The accused kicked the victim and snatched a 7-gram gold chain worth approximately Rs 70,000 and an Oppo mobile phone valued at Rs 5,000 before fleeing.
Police used technical analysis and intelligence inputs to track down the suspects. A trap was set, and both accused were apprehended within four hours.
The arrested have been identified as Sameer Hasan Sheikh (24) from Dahisar East and Sujal Santosh Chavan (21) from Borivali East. The stolen items were recovered during the arrests.
