Kasargod Police have arrested four individuals on charges of robbing a quarry manager of Rs10.2 lakh at gunpoint.

The accused have been identified as Mohammad Ibrahim Alam (21), Mohammad Malik (21), Mohammad Farooq (26) of Bihar, and Dhananjaya (21) from Assam.

The incident occurred on Wednesday when P.P. Ravindran (56), a quarry manager from Kozhikode, was waiting for an autorickshaw to return home. Three of the accused intercepted him, threatened him with a revolver, and fled with his cash bag containing Rs10.2 lakh.

Following a tip-off that the accused had escaped by train, the police swiftly acted and arrested three of the suspects at Mangaluru Railway Station as soon as they alighted from the train. The prime accused, Dhananjaya, was arrested in Kanhangad.
