Hyderabad/Ramagundam: Three interstate ganja peddlers were arrested in separate anti-drug operations by the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) Force, in coordination with Cyberabad and Ramagundam police, resulting in the seizure of 1.6 kilograms of ganja and a car.
In the first operation, officials from the EAGLE Force special task team, along with KPHB police, arrested Karthaka Praveen Kumar (33), a gym trainer residing in KPHB Colony and a native of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. The arrest took place near a graveyard on Hindu Villas Road in KPHB, Hyderabad, where 400 grams of ganja and a car were recovered from his possession.
The remaining two suspects were arrested in a separate operation, contributing to the total 1.6 kg of ganja seized. Authorities confirmed that investigations are ongoing to trace the peddlers’ supply network across states.
