ALLENTOWN, PA — A major drug bust on West Hamilton Street led to the arrest of a 31-year-old woman, Karlin Elizabeth Miller, and the seizure of a large quantity of illegal drugs, according to Allentown police.
The raid occurred around 12:30 p.m. Friday, led by the Vice and Intelligence Unit of the Allentown Police Department. The search warrant was executed at an apartment in the 1400 block of West Hamilton Street following an ongoing investigation.
Police recovered the following items during the search:
446 grams of cocaine
225 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
514 grams of marijuana
8 jars of THC wax
25 bags of marijuana edibles
52 THC vape cartridges
27.5 fentanyl pills
A digital scale and packaging materials
Over $17,000 in cash
Karlin Miller was present at the apartment and taken into custody at the scene. She now faces:
Four felony counts of possession with intent to deliver
Four misdemeanor counts of simple possession
One misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia
She was arraigned by District Judge Kyle B. Miller, who set bail at $500,000. Unable to post bail, Miller was remanded to Lehigh County Jail, where she remains as of Monday.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on May 2, where a judge will decide if the case will move forward to Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas.
