MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Authorities in Autauga County have arrested three men on serious charges related to human trafficking and child exploitation.
Kaden Tyree Provo, Christopher Thornton, and John Rye II were each charged with human trafficking, traveling to meet a child for sex, and electronic solicitation of a child.
According to court documents, all three men allegedly engaged in explicit communication with someone they believed to be a 15-year-old minor. The suspects then traveled on April 10 with the intent of exchanging money for sexual favors with the minor.
The arrests were made as part of a coordinated operation, and all three individuals were booked into the Autauga County Jail on Friday, April 11. Each suspect is being held on a $150,000 bond.
The case highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to combat online child exploitation and human trafficking across Alabama.
